Pengaruh Konsumsi Tablet Tambah Darah (TTD) terhadap Kadar Hemoglobin pada Pasien Anemia

Abstract

Anemia is one of the global health problems that is still a serious concern, especially in developing countries. In Indonesia, the prevalence of anemia according to SKI (2023) is that 16.3% of the Indonesian population aged 5-14 years suffer from anemia, and 15.5% of the population aged 15-24 years suffer from anemia. The incidence of anemia varied by sex, with females having higher rates (18.0%) than males (14.4%). This study aims to analyze the effect of blood (Fe) supplement tablet consumption on increasing hemoglobin levels in anemia patients examined using the cyanmethemoglobin method. This study used a pre-experimental approach with a post-test pre-test design, namely a group of anemia patients who received blood supplementation (Fe) with a dose of 60 mg per day for 14 days. With 20 samples taken from outpatients at Yasfina Clinic who met the inclusion criteria: age over 18 years, diagnosis of anemia based on Hb levels of less than 12 g/dL, and willingness to participate in a full and tracked intervention program during the study period. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling approach, based on the research that has been conducted, the results of increasing hemoglobin levels after the consumption of Blood Supplement Tablets (Fe) were obtained. Based on the paired test of the t test, a value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained which showed that there was a significant influence on the Hb level of anemia patients after being given blood supplemental tablets.
