Abstract

Employee physical fitness is an important factor in supporting work productivity and reducing the risk of musculoskeletal complaints in industrial environments. The purpose of this community service activity is to implement light physical exercise therapy as an effort to improve the quality of wellness fitness aspects at PT. Putri Kedaton. This activity involved 20 employees as a sample, and was carried out for 4 weeks with a frequency of three times per week. The implementation method included education, demonstrations, and direct practice of physical exercise therapy focused on stretching and strengthening core muscles. Evaluation was carried out through pre- and post-intervention questionnaires that measured knowledge, physical complaints, sleep quality, and work stress levels. The evaluation results showed an average decrease in muscle pain from 6.9 to 3.1, an increase in sleep quality from 4.5 to 7.7, fatigue decreased from 7.2 to 4.0 and work ability increased from 5.1 to 7.5. This activity received a positive response from the participants and was recommended to be made a routine company program. Simple exercise therapy has proven effective as a promotive and preventive approach in improving the quality of employee wellness at PT Putri Kedaton
